That’s right! The founders of Maja Rose Cake Design are two people! An industrial designer and lawyer, propelled into the world of professional cake making and decorating by their shared passion for baking and creating show-stopping cakes. Our unique skills, attention to detail and unrelenting drive to go the extra step for each and every cake remain the guiding principles of Maja Rose Cake Design.
the journey
We have been creating boutique cakes in Sydney's Inner West since 2018. The focus of our cake studio from the start was to create show stopping cakes that look incredible, and above all taste amazing. Our rule: "if we don’t love it in every way, it doesn’t leave the studio until we do!" We knew that if we were proud to hand over our creation, we would in turn delight our customers. Adhering to this motto quickly earnt Maja Rose Cake Design a loyal customer base and a reputation as being the place to go for a truly custom, spectacular and delicious wedding and special occasion cakes.

The same principles, passion and dedication guide what we do today. With Maja taking the lead in our new chapter, we have evolved from a bespoke cake studio to creating premium cake kits. Our kits are designed to enable home bakers and cake lovers to create stunning and delicious cakes anytime, from their home kitchen. Drawing on years of learning, knowledge and experience, our kits are so much more than tools and ingredients. We aim to teach, inform and "un-complicate" the process. With each kit, we want to leave you feeling confident, empowered, and rewarded, because we believe that you truly can create that 'wow' cake."
