Here's what to do
Step 1 - Select cake design
Each design has a unique and irresistible buttercream flavour and filling combination. We use Swiss meringue buttercream in all our cake kits, which is light, fluffy, superior in taste and so easy to make.
Step 2 - select cake flavour
There are five delicious cake flavours to choose from. We've done the hard work in providing you with the perfect cake recipe. It is so easy to make and results in moist and fluffy cake layers every time.
Step 3 - sit tight as we pack and send
Once you place an order for a cake kit from our exciting range, it will be hand packed into a Maja Rose gift box, ribboned and sent to you as soon as possible. Each kit is jam-packed with everything you need to create the cake design as per the image: detailed instructions, pre-measured dry ingredients, fillings and decorations, disposable baking pans and decorating tools.
Step 4 - Bake, decorate and brag
Follow our detailed instructions on how to bake, make and decorate. With all the pro tips and tricks, you will feel like we are right there with you. Success is guaranteed!

Our signature, vibrant range of jam flavours is made specifically for our cake flavour combinations, such as our fig and Earl Grey jam and raspberry and rosewater jam. Many of our flavour combinations use jams either in the buttercream or to add layers of flavour and texture to the cakes. All our jams are made from local produce in the Hunter Valley.

This was an easy and enjoyable cake to make, with clear step-by-step instructions. Along with helpful tips along the way, it has instructions for every stage that makes it almost foolproof to bake, assemble, and decorate. Along with having fun while making it, it had such great flavour, and it was not too sweet, too moist, or too dry- it was perfect. This is a great flavour if you love red velvet cake, as it is well-balanced. Along with the cake itself, the packaging was absolutely beautiful, and it comes with the majority of what one would need to bake a cake, as well as decorating tools. Overall, one of my favourite cakes I have ever made.
